NADA Show Mobile/Widget

An Automotive Cost to Own mobile tool and widget that make sense of the numbers

My Role:

Lead UX Designer – Cross Collaboration Team

Duties:

Interaction/Product Design, Prototypes, Visual Design, Development Consultant

Overview:

The automotive cost to own numbers are sometimes shocking and difficult to digest. In a mobile offering with little understanding around the numbers, many users don’t know how to process them. Our goal was to provide a mobile and widget solution that will help users make a valuable purchasing decision.

Execution:

While tackling this problem, I was able to uncover hidden data points and insight that brought clarity and understanding to the feature. These new details and features not only put the numbers in perspective, they help users make a more educated decision, bringing confidence to the shopping experience. In the end, I delivered a constrained mobile-friendly version as well as a small 230×300 widget version that had the flexibility to be placed in a variety of space limited applications.

Tools:

Adobe CC: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Adobe Extract, Adobe Illustrator
